Privacy Policy

Solemniza Ltd. ("we") is the data controller for personal data processed via the Service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.

Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, password hash, profile.
  • Event data: event details, guest lists, RSVPs, bookings you create.
  • Booking data: passenger and reservation details required by our travel partners and vendors.
  • Payment metadata (via Stripe; card numbers are never stored on our servers).
  • Technical data: IP address, device, cookies (see Cookie Policy).

Lawful bases

Contract (to deliver the Service), legitimate interests (to keep it safe and improve it), consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (accounting, tax).

Processors

Hosted infrastructure, payment processors, travel booking partners, transactional email, and edge/CDN providers. A full sub-processor list is available on request.

Retention

Event data is retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion. Booking records are retained for 7 years for tax purposes.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection, and to lodge a complaint with the ICO (UK) or your local supervisory authority.
